  The Apostolic Nuncio, Most Rev. Dr. Pedro Lopez Quintana, laid the foundation stone for St. Joseph Hospital on 30”' Oct. 2004. In the Year 2008 the first two wings of the Hospital were ready and they were blessed by Bishop Frederick D'Souza and Bishop Joseph Kaithathara jointly on the 19thMarch 2008. The Hospital became functional and slowly other blocks too came up. Today the hospital offers facilities of Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, General Medicine, Physio Therapy and Pathology. The hospital was renovated in the year 2024 under Fr. Joseph MA and appointed new doctors to bring it up. The entrance of the hospital was also built. The House of Life was started to look after the Senior Priests. The first floor of the building was turned into Diocesan Financial Administrative office.
