The Apostolic Nuncio, Most Rev. Dr. Pedro Lopez Quintana, laid the foundation stone for St. Joseph Hospital on 30”' Oct. 2004. In the Year 2008 the first two wings of the Hospital were ready and they were blessed by Bishop Frederick D'Souza and Bishop Joseph Kaithathara jointly on the 19thMarch 2008. The Hospital became functional and slowly other blocks too came up. Today he hospital offers facilities of surgery, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, gynaecology, generalmedicine and pathology.
